Naviamp Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Naviamp handles information when you use the Naviamp app. Naviamp is a music client for connecting to a user-provided Navidrome or compatible music server.

Data Naviamp Collects

Naviamp does not collect personal data for advertising, tracking, analytics, or resale. Naviamp does not include ads, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.

To provide app functionality, Naviamp may store data locally on your device, including:

• Connection settings for your music server
• Playback state and app settings
• Cached library metadata, cover art, lyrics, and audio files
• Diagnostics or status information used inside the app

Server Connections

Naviamp connects to the music server that you configure in the app. When you sign in or use the app, requests are sent to that server so Naviamp can browse your library, stream music, retrieve artwork, manage playback, and perform related music library features.

The privacy practices of your configured music server are controlled by the owner or operator of that server. Naviamp does not operate your music server.

Third-Party Services

Naviamp may contact third-party services only when needed for app features that you use, such as retrieving lyrics or related metadata. Naviamp does not use these services for advertising or tracking.

Data Sharing

Naviamp does not sell user data. Naviamp does not share user data with advertisers or data brokers. Data is sent only as needed to your configured music server or to services required for app functionality.

Data Storage and Deletion

Naviamp stores app data locally on your device. You can delete local Naviamp data by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Data stored on your music server, including your account and music library, is managed by that server. To delete server-side data or accounts, contact the administrator of your music server.

Security

Naviamp supports connecting to music servers over HTTPS when your server is configured for it. You are responsible for configuring and trusting the server you connect to.

Children's Privacy

Naviamp is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
